NOCELLARA DEL BELICE OLIVES
Produced in the Belice Valley, it is the only product in Europe to have received two DOP designations for the same variety: "Nocellara del Belice" in 1998 for the table olive and "Valle del Belice" in 2004 for the oil. Able to thrive in a wide range of environmental conditions, Nocellara trees have been renowned since ancient Greek times.
Thanks to rigorously hand-harvested harvesting, Nocellara del Belice olives retain their firm, crunchy pulp and sweet flavor, making them exceptional table olives. The almost perfectly spherical olives, with their distinctive light white spackles, can grow to impressive sizes.
